Baked Goods
Bake with me! I mostly bake when my kids nap. That gives me an hour tops. My baked goods are sweet, but not too sweet. I use natural sweeteners, like dried fruits, ripe fruit, honey, date syrup. Delicious tasting, healthy and nutritious sweetness. I also experiment often with a variety of flours: almond flour, coconut flour, spelt, buckwheat and whole wheat flour. The kind of flour transforms the texture and flavor of baked goods. When my kids ask for another cookie, or another slice of sweet bread, I want to say yes without hesitation, knowing that their sweet treat is actually good for them. Now let's bake!
